First day after orientation

     Thinking about the future will be the issue that most lecturer will touch on. However, it was said that we might not really involve in the field of the course that we pursue after some years and our lecturer had been asking us to get ready to overcome those circumstance.
     In the facts that I was taking a product designing course, the things that I want to design would be a portable fridge that was just as big as a bottles so we could store fresh food without mess. So, I was thinking about the source of energy and how it is going to work as well. First of all, I think it should be environmental friendly. I am thinking if it is possible to have it both generated by solar energy and rechargeable by a low voltage application like charging with a power bank. Besides, I was thinking on mobility. I hopes that the fridge would be easy to carry just like our smart phones.
     A multi-functional appliances would be my second choice like having a water heater and a iron at the same time. It would be space saving and energy saving as we could heat up water that we use to prepare hot drinks and have our clothes ironed at the same time. But there was a problem that is safety. Water leakage might be causing an unwanted electrical shortage and even a fatality so I really have to be careful about the product we design. As the saying "safety is our number one priority".
